About the Event
Do what you’ve always done, and you will get what you’ve always gotten. Would you like to be more competent, confident, and courageous when it comes to handling conflict in your life? If yes, then this workshop is for you. It’s a two-hour experiential journey that prepares you to be more responsive and less reactive in conflict by exploring the often-unrecognized impact of:
Our biology
Our early upbringing
Our learned cultural norms, and
Our habitual response to power dynamics
Each of these plays a heavy role in shaping your default conflict style, often dictating how you respond to conflict (if at all!) and whether you achieve satisfying results. It turns out that when we become more curious and conscious about our own habits and history, we are better able to align our best intentions with our actions.
By the end of this course, you’ll have one new life-changing belief about conflict and two powerful questions that prepare you to be wiser about that way you handle conflict, even when power and culture are at play.
